As our children get bigger, stripping them down to their birthday suit while at the beach to change into or out of a bathing suit, or undressing them in front of other kids at a dance class, may no longer be appropriate. In fact, they may want a little privacy. We've got the vibe on a great product that will help them change in public privately.
A simple invention solves a problem
Cover Me Up is the mastermind of a mom and her niece who got their idea after years of being involved in competitive dance. They noticed the struggle girls went through to find privacy while changing costumes. The Ontario-based team has since created Cover Me Up, fun cover ups that help solve the problem for young children and teens when they are trying to change in privacy in crowded public change rooms.
Why we like it
The poncho-styled Cover Me Up is a snazzy way to change outfits in privacy while out in public. It's easy to use. All you do is slip on the cover up and change clothes under it. No more awkwardly trying to shield your undressing child with a towel or coat.

Cover Me Up is available in two styles. The Rising Star is perfect for the dancer, figure skater, gymnast or anyone who has to change costumes in shared change rooms and Splish Splash is perfect for swimmers whether they are at the community pool, beach or on the boat.
We received both styles and like them both. The Splish Splash style is made out of terry cotton fabric and works as both a towel and a 'private change room' when you're at the pool or beach. It features a hood and a pocket to help keep your child warm. The Rising Star has a little pizzazz with the shimmery velvet, and easily folds into a small purse, which can also be used as a pillow.
Fun for the children, they can customize their Cover Me Up with the glitter paint and fun decorating accents that come with it.
