What is kindervibe?

Kindervibe delivers free, hip, brief yet insightful e-newsletters to the inbox of parents with young children, four to nine. Once you start your family, the pace of life seems to move into high gear and it can be hard to keep up. That's where kindervibe comes in. We do the research for you, delivering the best scoop on cool products, services, and tips for the bigger kids. More important, we aim to scout out the news on healthy, sustainable living. Our mandate is to provide you with fresh content focusing on eco-friendly, natural living.

How did kindervibe start?

Kindervibe is the sister publication to babyvibe. Babyvibe delivers pint-sized news for new and expecting families with babies and toddlers. Once readers’ children were hitting the preschool age, we found that there was a demand for the same style of e-newsletter but for an older audience. Readers asked and we delivered. Kindervibe started in the fall 2008.

When do you publish?

Kindervibe publishes product reviews and articles every Tuesday for families in North America. You can also elect to receive the Thursday Around Town issue for family friendly events in BC and Alberta.

I can’t find an earlier issue, where can I find it?

If you missed an issue of kindervibe or would like to find one that ran at an earlier date, visit www.kindervibe.ca and click on archives. You will then be able to access all kindervibe issues.

How do I subscribe to the e-newsletter?

Visit www.kindervibe.ca and enter your e-mail address under the sign-up icon, or click on sign-up at the bottom of the page.

My e-mail address has changed how do I change it?

At the bottom of the e-newsletter you receive, click on Update Profile/Email Address. You will then be directed to a page where you can change your e-mail address.

How do I get my friends and family to subscribe?

We encourage telling all your friends about kindervibe. Forward them a copy of the latest edition, or direct them to www.kindervibe.ca where they can sign up.

I like the event listings that babyvibe publishes, can I still receive them?

Every Thursday, kindervibe and babyvibe publish the Around Town event listings and birthday announcements. When you subscribe to kindervibe, you have the option to select Thursday’s Around Town issue. Please note that our event listings are currently for BC and Alberta.

How do I submit and event?

If you know of a great family friendly event, please e-mail all the details to events@babyvibe.ca. Event listings are free.

How do I submit a product or story idea?

If you have an innovative product or service that would be perfect for children, four to nine, and/or the entire family, and would like a review on Kindervibe, please contact Lisa, Kindervibe editor, at lisa@kindervibe.ca. We accept product samples and media kits. Please note that not all samples can be returned.

It’s my child’s birthday and I’d like to announce it in Around Town, how do I do that?

Here at kindervibe, we love to help share the news of your child’s birthday! Please e-mail a .jpg picture (please note the photo will be cropped square) to announcements@babyvibe.ca.

What is your privacy policy?

We value your privacy. Subscriber’s information is kept secured and is 100 per cent confidential. Information will not be sold or distributed for any purposes. Please see privacy policy.

Will I receive spam?

Are your paid for any of your editorial?

Kindervibe’s articles are strictly editorial. We are not paid for our reviews, articles or event listings. Please see editorial policy.

How do you make your money?

In order to pay the cost of running the business, kindervibe offers advertising on the web and e-newsletters. We try to partner with local, ethical, unique businesses. Advertising will be clearly marked with a ‘sponsor link’, ‘advertisement’ or ‘dedicated e-mail.’

How do I advertise on kindervibe?
